Baterai AA 2700 mAh
on Amazon
Words: Best out there by David Marshall, Lexington, Kentucky, USA (5/5 stars). "I have two sets of four and the powerex charger. i charged up four and put them in my camera when i got it in january 06. Last week those original batteries finally ran out of juice. I use my camera quite often and was amazed how long these batteries lasted. simply the best choice for rechargeable batteries on the market."

Ive had a lot of rechargeables over the years, most recently the Energiser 2500mAH AA batteries and some Maha Powerex 2300mAH batteries. both these and the energisers have seen a lot of action - thousands and thousands of photos in my digital camera, stints in my headtorch, cd walkman, minidisc recorder - and both sets are still going strong. a few weeks back I bought a couple of sets of these Powerex 2700mAh AA,s and they are my new favourites. I just keep being amazed that the technology keeps improving, every time you think its hit a limit. i first read about the maha/powerex's when they came out on top in the Great Battery Shootout, which sadly doesnt appear to be being maintained anymore.
these batteries claim 2700mAh, which is a pretty big claim, but as far as i can tell, they appear to be (unlike many others) living up to it. one thing however, is that the health and life of *any* NiMh batteries is heavily dependent on having a decent quality charger. a crap charger will ruin even the best set of rechargables really quick, whereas a good one will keep them happy for a long long time. (i use a Maha C-401FS, which ive had for a few years, and its still going strong. i like it because it has separate circuits for each individual cell, unlike most charges that will only do pairs. still, if i was buying another, id probably get the C204W. i must sound like a maha salesman - im not - its just the best gear ive been able to find, and ive done a lot of looking...)
hope this helps,
cheers,
ben

Charger C204W

on Amazon.com
Words: Best AA/AAA battery charger in the world by Luis Mirasol, Michigan, USA (5/5 stars). "I have a Maha C204F and C204W battery charger and they are best your money can buy. I travel outside the United States a lot so I bring the C204W which is lightweight and uses 100-240V. The C204W does the best job of "topping off" batteries because it uses a three-stage charging process. The C204W switches from a fast charge to an intermediate charge level after the charger initially detects that the battery is "full" (about 95% charge capacity). After a while in this "topping off" charge mode, the charger will finally drop down to trickle-charge mode, applying brief pulses of current for a few tenths of a second every 7 seconds or so. The "revival" capability of the C204W is a real plus: Saving just one or two sets of old, "dead" NiMh batteries could pay for the entire cost of the charger. I just leave my batteries in the C-204W after they're charged, to keep them topped off."
Words: Small, light, fast and universal by Sebastian Heinz, Cambridge, Massachussets, USA (5/5 stars). "I bought this because it can travel around the globe. It uses a simple DIN plug, cords for which can be bought anywhere around the world for easy convertibility. It's also nice and small, and while it's not one of the superfast 15min or 30min chargers, you can rest assured that your batteries don't get overheated. Charge times of 1-2 hours are plenty fast for me (especially since one set of batteries can last a whole day in my Canon S2 IS), and it's as pocketable as any of the proprietary Li-Ion chargers for other digicams. A great choice all around."

Words: After charging a few rounds with the Maha MH-C808M, including C and D batteries, and once again being VERY impressed with the conditioning feature, I give it a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
The Maha MH-C808M is the King Kong of chargers. I'm not sure how to say it any other way. The MH-C808M has a presence which conveys professional performance and a contemporary design. The "No Springs" design makes inserting and removing batteries a simple task and no springs getting caught on the battery itself. The LCD display has been upgraded to feature back lighting for dark and dim places, which is an excellent addition. The display is properly angled so you can see the charging status from a good distance away.

Words: The Maha MH-C801D is a modern-designed charging masterpiece. It's compact in size, aesthetically and ergonomically shaped to fit in with your other electronic components, and just "feels better" when inserting the batteries. The LCD display is certainly welcomed, and what would make it even better, is to have an option for backlighting so you can see the charging status of your batteries in the dark.
